We absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation. There are numerous alternatives in the area that are much better! The first problem occurred when we read when booking on Booking.com that payment should be made on site. So we withdrew cash, only to realise when we arrived that the hostess was not there. Instead, we met an elderly Italian lady who didn't speak a word of English. She was nice, but that didn't help us. We were sent a link to the money order, but we made it clear that we only wanted to pay in cash, which she could not accept. Additionally, we did not receive fresh towels during our stay and there was no contact person on site. On the last day, a house technician came to settle the accommodation - without an invoice! When I enquired who he was sent by, I was given a different contact that we had previously communicated with. That was extremely unprofessional. I wanted to try and take a relaxed view of the situation, as you can't expect much from accommodation like this. However, I am sensitised by my training in a large hotel group and have a lot of understanding for different situations. Nevertheless, this accommodation really shocked me.
