Central LUX Apartment in DC

The location was great! Check out the quaint restaurant next door! Very easy to get an Uber, rent scooters and take the train. We booked this place due to its walkability from Union Station. We took the Amtrak to Washington DC.

1. The owners were very slow to respond to questions. Not until they needed my payment did I get a response. I even tried to send them a message on AirBnB because even though I booked through this site, the dates were showing as available on their AirBnB site which freaked me out. 2. The reviews talk about the people who live above this unit being noisy. So I was prepared for footsteps, etc. (no worries about that) but beware...this family was having an all out verbal brawl with visiting relatives, I believe (it was so loud we heard what they were saying). This is obviously no fault of the owners but beware of the noise above. 3. The back patio area is lovely but there is no where to sit??? Why promote it if no one can go out there unless maybe to smoke??? Suggest adding a small table and chairs so guests can enjoy a morning cup of coffee or happy hour cocktail. Overall we had a nice stay (you need a toilet paper holder in the bathroom by the way and maybe a shower curtain instead of just the plastic portion for privacy), but for the price and location we were happy.
