Magical Tabernacle in a Beautiful Setting with Hot Tub

It was cute, lovely facilities, everything you need for a get away.

I couldn't really get the heating or boiler to work, but that might just be me.

The location was magical. It was just such a pretty place.

We didn’t particularly like the toilet but that was only a minor thing. We didn’t think of it really.

The location is idyllic, the space feels magical. The lack of screens, signal and WiFi force you to slow down and disconnect. We also quite enjoyed the 'job' of keeping the hot tub fire burning. The kitchen is diddy but has everything you need for simple meals. I could have spent a week in that bed looking out of the window with a book in hand. The shower was also surprisingly good!

The composting toilet was a bit to get used to, but fine for a few days! Would have appreciated a shelf or similar in the bathroom for wash bags/toothbrushes etc. Ended up storing things on the side in the kitchen. A little info booklet on how to keep the hot tub going would have been appreciated. Just tips on how often it needed feeding, how long ahead of time you need to start it going etc.

Location was ideal for a complete getaway from the modern day life as no internet or tv. Instead you can switch off in the lovely hot tub. Although things were basic everything was there for you including tea and coffee. Comfortable bed for a restful nights sleep. Secluded in the woods with only nature around you and the owner’s pets

The drive on the path to park the car was in need of attention even for a experienced driver.

What did I love most? Maybe it was the enchanting, magical atmosphere—or the beautiful gardens, where cats and chickens roamed freely. Perhaps it was the peaceful remoteness, so close to the wild North Cornish coast. Or maybe it was the 13th-century inn just down the road. Hard to choose.
