Modern Central Apartment with Free Parking

The apartment was clean and cosy. All that was needed for a great stay. Location was excellent for us.

Probably the best place I have stayed in down Southampton. Super clean. Extremely quiet, I had the best 3 nights sleep in a long time. The bed was so comfy. I liked everything about the place. Great hosts. Thankyou. Also I really liked the decor and particularly the chandelier and pictures. Spot on.

That I didn't book longer.

Lovely little apartment with more space than expected. Nicely furnished with everything you need for a short or long stay. Handy for the station. Communication is excellent and access is easy with codes sent on the day of arrival.

Unfortunately the host was not helpful. They were insisting that I should have looked into the check-in details to check in. There were NO such instructions on booking.com website, at least the details they were quoting. There was a security box where the keys for the entrance were. This box was in a different level than the main entrance. There were no such instructions on the website and I was continuously told off over the phone when I asked for help. The box was somehow stuck, not easy to open. While I was trying to open it, the landlord was on the phone telling me off and insisting that it will be a waste of their time if they have to come and help!!! They were also insisting that they were opening it every day so it's working. Worst experience ever, and I have been in many places. There was a message the following day at 10:00 - I had already left at 07:00 - that I should have left the key to the box where I found it. One more thing. It's supposed to be a modern apartment and you struggle to find a plug to charge your mobile phone, only one plug free in the bedroom.

Well placed for town centre, approx 15 minute walk or bus from about 1000yrds from property. Nice area, very quiet

Can't say it was a didn't like, but would have liked to know it was on top floor with lots of stairs, no lift.

- Good bedroom size. - Very clean. - Apartment (with corridor) with fridge, toaster, electric portable cooker, shower. Two windows in the room so really good for fresh air. Parking on-site. Host was very clear to enter from the right-side of the building in the car (not the left) as the left-side has a big hump which can affect cars with lower suspension.

Everything was fab! The only thing for customers to consider is the flight of steps as the Apartment is on 3rd floor and the building does not have a lift. If you are travelling light (plus have no medical issues like asthma or any mobility issues) then no problems at all.
