The lake was clean with good views. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We couldn't use the balcony as it was very hot even in the evening.. The water pressure dropped to nothing during my shower. Just managed to finish my shower. The kettle for making tea was faulty. The quality of bedding was below standard.. To me , most of the food was very salty.

We had a lovely stay at Fragrant Nature Backwater Resort & Ayurveda Spa. The villas were spacious, with a good-sized room, dining area and bathroom, making it a comfortable experience. The spa was nice, with a few good deals available. The staff were friendly and the hotel offered transportation for a fee, which was handy for day trips. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. However, the room service menu was excellent, with great options and very delicious food.

Faced frequent power outages, which was frustrating. It felt like the electricity kept going off every few minutes, taking the lights, AC and WiFi with it. The swimming pool was a disappointment. While the setting was beautiful, surrounded by trees and nature, it was clear that the pool had not been cleaned in a while. Tiles were coming off and algae were growing on the surface. We were only informed at checkout that the pool would be closed in a couple of months for renovations and that a private pool was available for certain room tiers. It would have been great to know this at check-in instead! Overall, it was a lovely stay, but I wouldn’t give it 5 stars due to the power issues and pool maintenance.

The location is the x- factor. It’s so serene, calm, pretty, green, clean- everything that you desire on a holiday. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. The fluffy idlis, crispy dosas and soft uthapams were amazing. Fresh fruit and fresh juices were good. The staff right from the cheerful security guards, gardening staff, restaurant, housekeeping and front office wore a smile and were helpful and pleasing.

Nothing that didn’t like . It would be lovely to get an English newspaper / magazines.

Needs more lights in the night. The restaurant is far and on the first floor, making it uncomfortable for elderly and sick visitors.

It was beautiful looking property by the lake side, but except that it was NOT value for money at all. Dont get misled by the pictures

We paid for premium lake view villa & they gave us rooms that had a garden view. We asked for change, but the customer service experience (dealing with the staff & going through the process itself) was so bad that we gave up. Staff had no clue. The building itself was falling apart with AC not working initially & and light switches not working. There were cockroaches on the bed & some other little bugs. The food both breakfast & dinner buffet was not good... just basic stuff & options were super limited. There are no restaurants or any shops at a walkable distance. The location of the property is quite a drive through narrow roads & is in the interiors of a village. The property has NO concept of accessibility. There is no way the elderly or people with different abilities can enjoy these premises with way too many steep stairs all the way to the dining space & all through the property. The walk from the reception area to the villa/rooms is exactly 12 mnts & the walk ways are so rugged that you will trip & fall if you are not careful. Plus, there were no proper lights on the walk way...pitch dark & we had to use our mobile torch each time we walked up & down. There is no other option but walk 12mnts each way if you need to get to dining hall or reception etc. The pool was not clean either. Overall, the whole experience, including the staff, was a letdown. The prices are hyped up for nothing. To the management: your buildings need massive upgrades. And please update your website saying the property is NOT ACCESSIBILITY friendly so that people don't get misled, especially if there are elderly folks.
