GBGBCentrally located in a peaceful area, within easy walking distance to the mere,shops, cafes etc and the beach is not too far to walk if you want to leave the car behind. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, spacious house and secure outside area suitable for sitting out/children and dogs to play. Downstairs toilet for convenience, good doors and windows. We enjoyed the coffee machine and hubby enjoyed the sweets.
For me the bed and bedding were not quite comfortable although the beds look nice, just personal preference. I would have benefited from handles on the bath although I managed. A milk jug and teapot would have been nice for the mornings.

GBWe have been accused of leaving a burn mark on the bedroom carpet with an iron. My husband and I were on a walking holiday and therefore did not take any clothes that needed ironing. I couldn't even say where the iron was located. We are a responsible couple but we are both extremely upset to be accused of damage we haven't done. There are no instructions on how to use the cooker or coffee machine, shower etc. Also every room has scent diffusers which set my husband's asthma off. We had to go round the whole house to unplug each one as they made him extremely unwell. I cannot recommend this cottage for these reasons
