Appartamento Aretusa di G&G

Our stay in Ortigia, Syracuse, was simply exceptional. The host was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. Since I was traveling with my mother and daughter, she personally came to meet us at the bus station and took us to the apartment, making sure everything was perfect for our arrival. The apartment itself is absolutely wonderful — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and equipped with every possible comfort. It truly feels like a home away from home. Guests have access to bicycles, beach umbrellas, and a washing machine, which made our stay even more convenient. If the weather doesn’t allow clothes to dry quickly, there’s a self-service laundry with dryers just a few meters away, open daily from 6 AM until midnight, where for only 3–6 euros you can easily dry your laundry. The location is more than perfect — just steps from the sea, in one of the most beautiful and authentic parts of Ortigia. It’s surrounded by excellent restaurants, cozy cafés, and artisan workshops, allowing you to fully experience the true spirit and atmosphere of Ortigia. The central bus station, from where you can easily reach Catania, Noto, or Taormina, is within a pleasant 25-minute walk. Alternatively, there’s a local bus stop just 100 meters from the apartment that takes you directly there. Every detail in the accommodation has been carefully considered, ensuring maximum comfort and convenience for guests. There’s also convenient parking nearby. The host is a truly wonderful person whose warmth and hospitality made our stay unforgettable. I would gladly choose this apartment again with great pleasure. Highly recommended!

Everything was more than perfect!!!

This is a sumptous apartment right in Ortigia, 1 block from the seaside walkway that rings the town. Gorgeously decorated, very spacious, lovely high ceilings, comfortable bed, good airco, super quiet. Host provided a nice bottle of wine, cold water and breakfast basics. Kitchen has olive oil and spices for basic cooking, and an espresso machine. Washing machine worked great. Host arranged for parking at the garage across the street so it was very easy to drive our rental car into town, park and walk a few doors down to the apartment. Perfect location for walking to anything in Ortigia or exploring Siricusa.

La posizione dell"appartamento è ottima per visitare Ortigia. Il parcheggio a pagamento è quasi di fronte alla struttura, e fa un servizio eccellente. È ideale per soggiorni lunghi.

Avremmo voluto incontrare la proprietaria.

Un'esperienza super in una località ricca di storia. L'appartamento è in una posizione centrale ma tranquilla. E' utilissimo il garage a pochi metri di distanza (altrimenti la sosta nella zona ZTL sarebbe praticamente impossibile). L'ambiente è curato nei particolari, con una prima lunga stanza con una cucina ben attrezzata e un comodissimo divano che si trasforma in un letto matrimoniale. Seguono a destra una stanza lavanderia con lavatrice e pilozzo, mentre a sinistra un grande bagno con sanitari (e bidet) e una grande doccia. Non abbiamo avuto problemi di mancanza o scarsezza d'acqua, per quel che si dice della carenza in Sicilia. Saponi, asciugamani come nei migliori Hotel. La camera matrimoniale è spaziosa e con una finestra alta per arieggiarla. Il materasso e i cuscini li abbiamo trovati molto comodi. Sia la sala d'ingresso che la camera sono climatizzate e dotate di televisore a 32 pollici (che peraltro non abbiamo usato, preferendo uscire la sera). L'appartamento è dotato di accesso ad Internet tramite un router TIM. All'arrivo a Siracusa (nella tarda nottata) la proprietaria ci ha assistito per trovare la giusta strada per Ortigia. Ci ha consigliato anche locali in zona per colazione e pranzo, che si sono rivelati ottimi per qualità e prezzo. All'arrivo ci ha fatto trovare bevande in frigorifero e snack/caffè per la colazione dei primi giorni. Nell'appartamento sono a disposizione delle guide turistiche molto utili per le visite dei dintorni, oltre ad un dettagliato programma con indicato il monumento e la sua ubicazione stilato dalla proprietaria. La signora Veronica ci ha seguito ogni giorno consigliandoci anche spiagge e località da visitare: veramente una persona cordiale e gentile che ringraziamo. Un esperienza estremamente positiva che suggeriremo ai nosti amici.

Appartamento nuovissimo e arredato con cura nei minimi dettagli.Siamo stati accolti da Veronica, una donna eccezionalmente accogliente e gentile, ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni turistiche e gastronomiche sul posto. Posizione perfetta e centralissima per raggiungere facilmente ogni parte di Ortigia.
