Aurora Apartment - Skopelos

I had an excellent stay! The accommodation was spotless, very well maintained, and had everything I needed. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming, and she gave me great tips about Skopelos — from beaches to restaurants and things to do. Highly recommended!

Cerrie was a wonderful host and got in touch within about 30 mins of us placing our booking. She was happy to pick us up from the port in Skopelos when we arrived and to drop us back when we left. Aurora Apartment is stunning with lovely modern styling and absolutely spotlessly clean. We felt at home right away. The view from the terrace and the large windows is beautiful! The terrace with large table and 6 chairs plus 2 sun loungers AND a macrame swing was such a luxury. My husband loved spending the early evening watching the swifts swooping over the town. The beds were comfy and the air conditioning was powerful. Having a washing machine was also incredibly handy. When we first arrived we had a few issues and a few questions, such as the main bedroom air con was not working. We got in touch with Cerrie and she sent the cleaner around within about 10 minutes to take look. When the cleaner could not resolve the issue, an electrician arrived about 10 mins later. In the end the issue was purely down to needing new batteries in the remote control, but we were so impressed with how quickly Cerrie responded and how seriously she took our concerns. Skopelos is fabulous, the island is very mountainous and green with lots of pine trees. Skopelos town has some beautiful gift shops and some very nice restaurants but staying at Aurora made the holiday. The current photos on booking.com are a true representation of good the apartment is. We’re already thinking about planning a return trip next year and we don’t normally visit places twice.

There was nothing we didn’t like, it was amazing! But guests considering staying should be aware that it’s about a 5 minute walk down many steps to the town from the apartment. Walking down is not too bad, but the walk back up is good exercise and takes a bit longer but it’s a good way of walking off your dinner! Phew! If you have car or a Quad Bike (as we did) you can park near by. And towards the end of our 9 day stay we realised you could get a taxi from the port for €6.

This apartment is absolutely stunning. It’s immaculately clean with great air con, and excellent shower pressure/hot water at all times. It has everything you need and every aspect is perfect. Our favourite has to be the huge private terrace with the most amazing views. Despite spending most days touring the island - we always found time in the morning and evenings to take in the views. Finally, must mention that Cerrie was the most amazing host and could not be any more helpful - taking us to and from the port and offering plenty of recommendations and local intel. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely return !

This is a stunning property and the photos can't do it justice. It is fully equipped with high quality furnishings and appliances. Dishwasher, washing machine and American fridge freezer. Being the top floor, you get 2 private balconies and a massive, private terrace with solid furniture. The highlight for me was the view. Huge picture windows allow you to see the view day and night. There are 3 air-conditioning units and 2 bathrooms with excellent water pressure and hot water. Kerry is the perfect host and picked us up from the port. The location is just under the ring road, so you do need a car, which you can park 2 minutes from the apartment. It was a perfect stay.
