HOTEL DRIP&DROP, Myeongdong

The location is amazing, close enough to all relevant places but far enough not to be noisy or crowded. The subway station is just at the door. The personal was extremely kind and the vibe of the hotel was also really cool.

Pillows could be more comfortable, there is not much space to put luggage. All the cabins are in a share space, one guest was talking on the phone at night for a while until we asked him to hang the call.

The hotel was located next to a lot of shops, eateries and train station

We had 4 large luggage’s which fit into the room but this made the room very cramped. We were located on level 8 and could smell a lot of cigarettes smoke above us.

Great location between Myeondong and Euljiro. Lots of bars, restaurants and cafes literally on the doorstep. My pod was very cosy and comfortable and I slept extremely well. It was cool to look out the porthole of my pod at night and see the neon lights and electronic billboards of the area. Felt like I was in Blade.Runner! My fellow dorm mates were very considerate and quiet, which was much appreciated as that’s not always the case in hostels! Staff were very helpful and friendly. The bathrooms were mostly kept clean and there was good shower pressure.

The toilet and shower cubicles were extremely small and cramped. The lockers were very small so you couldn’t put your backpack in, and I felt slightly uncomfortable leaving mine out in the open luggage area. My original pillow was way too soft but I requested a firmer one which was perfect.
