Urban Oasis in Hope Village

The tranquility of having an entire floor to myself. The plants added a peaceful feeling to the entire area. The view from the bedroom with the sunrise over the trees. Breakfast/dining area very well appointed and additional comfortable area to read with plants creating a cozy atmosphere.

The stairs at first to carry up the suitcase but so worth it. Rest of the time no worries about that.

The place was extremely clean and organized. Everything was neatly placed right where it belonged. The host took great care of us and we were very grateful to have Per.

Staying in the Urban Oasis in Hope Village was like experiencing a piece of America at its best. The location was remarkably peaceful, safe, beautiful, and close enough to the Providence city center to access transport to explore the greater Rhode Island and New England area. We found peace in Providence.

Walking through the hosts living area to your third floor accommodation initially makes you feel like you're intruding, however the hosts are kind and gracious, and you soon don't notice their presence unless you stop to have a friendly chat.

This was one of my most favorite places I've ever stayed in. Honestly, I want to frame the pics I took of the rooms. It was so gorgeous and relaxing and cozy. Not to mention super clean and well set-up. I want to return to Providence and just hang out in the rooms!! Also, the location is fantastic. You can walk to stores and eateries.

It wasn't a big deal at all but there were quite a few instructions re: air, codes, etc. Having a printed paper to refer to would be helpful. Also, this is the top floor of a house so people are below you but that wasn't an issue at all.

The location

you had to go through where the owners live, to get to the room,I personally don’t like to take off my shoes and walk in socks,and the owner asked me to do it. The AC unit they have hanging on the wall fell off and that room was like an oven! Too hot!!! The restroom is outside the bedroom and no AC either.

Nice area the place was really clean

As its name suggests, this place is truly an urban oasis in Providence. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood of the Hope Village, you have an entire floor of your own, including a living room, a bedroom, and a private bathroom. Although the landlord lives in the same house, your privacy is well respected. The rooms are super clean and are beautifully decorated with antique furniture and many plants just as shown in the pictures. There's a coffee machine with capsules, a wide variety of teas, a fridge, a kettle, plates, cups, and cutleries, everything you need for a short stay. The location is very convenient, only a 2-minute walk to Hope Street where you can find lots of restaurants and cafes. The bus stop is also minutes away.

It'll be even better if cooking is allowed.
