Lovely apartment with a pool

The apartment is very central with a few minutes of walk to the nearest grocery store and restaurants. Its takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the cable cars, from which you can easily get to the beach and Isola Bella. The hotel is modern, clean and well equipped. The pool area is nice with a beautiful view, and the host is helpful and easy to get in touch with throughout your stay. All in all a good experience, and I can recommend this place (as long as you don’t mind the few things listed below).

The building is hard to navigate in due to lack of signs that would direct you to the apartment/main entrance/pool area/parking lot. It is a 3-4 storey building and eveything is on different levels. There are several elevators that take you to certain storeys. A point of concern is, that there are no visible exit signs in case of an emergency, and in the evening the hallways are dark. Also be aware that almost everything runs on power (automatic gate to entrance, elevators, automatic port to parking lot) which means that you will have trouble getting in/out on/of the premises in case of a power cut (we experienced a power outage in the entire city that went on for around 15 hours on and off) - we could not get inside the building or drive out with the car). This is not a critique of the hotel or the host, as the rooms are located inside of a residential building and hence the host does not maintain the entire premises. But I think that it is important that guests are aware of this prior to booking, escpecially families with kids. I am sure that security measures are in place, but there is lack of proper guidance/transparency around this. Another minor thing is, that the view from the balcony is a contruction side with a huge crane disturbing the view to Etna. The construction is on hold though, so there is no noice at least.

This is a lovely modern flat just a short walk from the Main Street of Taormina. The shared pool offers a welcome escape to relax by and we had no problems getting sunbeds. Our host Maria Teresa gave us lots of good tips and was very helpful and welcoming

The location was great in every way. And the host, Mariateresa, certainly one of the nicest possible.

Fabulous location. A 5 minute walk down steps or side streets to the main areas, restaurants and view points. The apartment was very clean, washing liquid for the machine was provided and water in the fridge on arrival. The pool looked fine but we were so busy and the weather wasn't brilliant so we didn't have a chance for a dip. Great views of Etna and Giardino Naxos bay from the bedroom window.

Curtains in the living area and one bedroom had come off the pulley track before our arrival which made full coverage of the window tricky.

Very clean and new property, fully amended. In a quiet place but very close to supermarket, bars and restaurants. Maria Teresa was very helpful! We spent amazing 3 days in Taormina.
