Super clean, very well furnished, good basic supplies for cooking. A perfect location for a getaway and so close to Keepers pond and the atmospheric surroundings. We came for the Butterflies restaurant which was probably the best steak that we’ve ever had. So lovely to stay a stone’s throw away at the cottage. The hot tub was an extra treat ! Really hope to go back there soon.

"Lovely relaxing couple of days"

We loved the cottage. Beautifully decorated and a mix of modern and traditional decor and furniture. Everything was spotlessly clean and looked brand new. Milk and butter in the fridge and teabags and cereal and cookies were a nice touch. Hot tub was a lovely surprise although we didn't use it as it was raining! Would love to stay in the Summer to make use of it. Great value for money.

WiFi code in the welcome book was wrong so needs to be updated. We could not get the television to work or even turn on so an instruction book would have been helpful. A couple of observations are the room ceiling lights were vey dim (soft glow bulbs) which made it impossible to read and the garland on the handrail hindered us oldies getting upstairs. Although these are negative points, they do not detract from the overall beauty of the cottage. We will definitely stay again if we're in the area.
