Il Carrubo di Casa Camilla Journey

The property is very remote. Lovely large garden and outside space with small pool. The wildlife is amazing with butterflies/gekkos/lizards. Inside is spacious but basic.

The constant bonfire smell is a problem. Everything smelled of smoke. Constant barking of dog at another property all hours! Electrics leave a lot to be desired in certain areas. We felt there were a couple of things that should have been addressed before property was put up for holiday rental. No fan in bedroom which was far too hot! No umbrella outside. No loungers, uncomfortable deckchairs. Although it advertised tea/coffee maker there was just a moka pot no machine or kettle or toaster. Lack of thought for holidaying comfort. We were also told owner would come in to sort pool and water plants. We think this happened once. The pool was very mucky by the end of the week! This place could be amazing with a few comfortable tweaks. However casa camilla were very good at getting a fan and kettle to us after requesting.
