Greenbury Kite Hostel & Restaurant

The hosts were really nice and welcoming! The room was clean and it is not too far from the beach (~20min walks) ! I would really recommend staying here!!

Lovely people, lovely dog. Great location. Nice garden. Short walk to a stunning, clean beach.

I stayed in hostel, owner was awesome man, very hospitable and friendly. We talked few hours about life. It was nice that he gave all information about kitesurfing. When I came he provided welcome drink smoothie wooden apple mixed with coconut, really delicious. When I wanted to go around, he provided bicycle for free, it was other bonus. I could meet his kite surfer friends, that also nice. He had nice dog as well.Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay long because kitesurfing season was over, no wind. Every bed has mosquitoes net and fan near by. It was great experience to stay there.

At night can get a bit hot, depending on weather. Toilet and shower outside of dorm.

Everything was perfect. The Owner and his Wife are really kind and can manage everything for you

Amazing place in the center of kalpitiya. The place was very big with a nice garden including some donkeys and cows. All facilities, including food, showers, and cleaning, were at a very high quality, including a high quality wifi connection(which is rare in kalpitiya) The location is very close to the kiting lagoon and is suitable for kite surfers. Will definitely be back

Rohan and his wife are absolutely lovely. Very friendly and excited for making their property into a lovely guesthouse

Only the WiFi! And they are getting it this week, so the next time I’m there, I’ll be able to relax and work from the porch
