Amazing stay in the peacock room. The room has everything you could need for a comfortable, easy and welcoming stay and is decorated beautifully. The room was impeccably clean and smelt amazing. The shower was a highlight as so often you get rubbish water pressure and a luke warm temperature but not here! Nice hot shower to start the day was the best. Little extras such as fresh milk and butter, jam and bread in the room made it feel extra special. Check in process was so easy and Dawn was a great host checking in on me and providing details about my stay. Thank you!

If I was being super picky, when I woke up there were several spiders in the room, it is an older cottage and has trees nearby so probably my own fault for having the window open! But bear in mind I’d you’re really not a fan! Didn’t detract from and amazing stay.

Location was quiet and relatively easy to find. Comfortable bed and there was tea/coffee and breakfast choices with bread and cereal, orange juice and milk/butter

Nothing really apart from the mother of all spiders startling my wife!

"A luxurious stop-over and excellent value."

the location was peaceful, the room and bed were very comfortable, shower excellent, a selection of drinks, including fresh orange juice, and milk for cereal, bread for toasting and butter, for breakfast were available. The decor was tasteful, fresh linen and towels. A very welcome break from travelling on the M6, My stay was for one night only. Field View Cottage was not far from the Motorway and easy to find. The gentle sound of the water feature in the garden was also very soothing.
