Sweet cottage Host great. Lots of good info before arrived eg places to have a drink or meal out etc. Enjoyed evenings and driving here and there. Little village very pretty walkover bridge and gorgeous flowers

Cozy, spotless, very well-located, very well-stocked, check-in super easy.

Only negative is the steps to the second floor, though this seems to be typical of many English houses. You have to step up into the master bedroom and step down into the bathroom. We had to be very careful in the middle of the night not to trip. Also, the house shares a wall with the neighbors next door, so you can sometimes hear them. Wasn’t really an issue.

Beautiful location, excellent hosts, beautifully finished

Lovely little cottage, very clean and cosy. Well equipped with everything we needed and beautifully decorated. Parking space was perfect with the option of parking out the front as well. Croston is small but well cared for and a good base for Southport. We didn't get a chance to sit in the pub gardens as it rained constantly but were more than happy to spend time tucked up in the cottage after our days out exploring. Didn't meet the owner but all communication before our stay was spot on. Definitely on our favourites list for this part of the country.
