Schön renovierte, gut ausgestattete Unterkunft in einem urigen Bergdörfchen. 10min mit dem Auto von Luino entfernt. Nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Kinderfreundlich. Sehr sauber.

Sehr gepflegte und großzügige Wohnung mit viel Raum zum Wohlfühlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und besonders aufmerksam war das tolle Empfangspaket (bspw. Obst, Zutaten für eine Mahlzeit, Sekt, Saft und Wasser, etc. 😀). Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt.

Het appartement is ruim met een heel goed uitgeruste keuken en een mooi terras. We werden hartelijk onthaald door Michela en haar ouders. Het welkomstpakket was leuk! Ondanks de beperkte communicatiemogelijkheden met de ouders, die naast het appartement wonen, waren ze oprecht geinteresseerd naar je vakantie ervaringen en gaven ze tips. Toch kreeg je ook de nodige privacy.

Situation exceptionnelle au coeur du village de Dumenza, nous avons été reçus par Michela et ses parents d une manière fort sympathique. L appartement était propre et très bien équipé. La situation géographique de Dumenza permet d' être à cheval entre la Suisse et l Italie. Les petites attentions gourmandes de Michela sont un plus.😁 Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Un grand merci aux parents qui ont été très attentifs et bienveillants envers nous.

Nous ne sommes pas rester assez longtemps 😉

Fantastic View, super nice host, great base to bike / trek around the area. We visited many Swiss and Italian small historical villages, had a nice swim in the Lake and also had easy access to shops and tons of programmes.

+ The host Michela and her parents are fabulously friendly, accommodating, and understanding. They have waited for us at our arrival to greet us in and give us the keys, and Michela provided us with a cot bed and a high chair for our 1 year old! + And coloured pencils for our other child! + The starter greeting pack. We were greeted by a selection of fruit, jams, olive oil, coffee pods, and even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge! Incredible! + Location is great if you're looking for a quiet, secluded place. It's a tiny village in the middle of the prealps, which is exactly what we wanted. + All the appliances were almost new, and the cupboards were full of pots, pans, glasses, bottle corkscrews and everything you need to cook and prepare your own food. + Dishwasher and the liquid for the entire stay- pretty cool. + There is a parking spot right front- but beware, the access road is EXTREMELY SUPER narrow. You need to be confident of your car's external dims to navigate this one through.

- Well if you're looking for crazy pub crawls and dance floors you won't find it here. But its not what this place is for, after all. - The apartment is up a flight of stairs, and there are internal steps as well - not great for a child that is crawling around on all fours, so you need to watch out for him all the time. But this applies only for babies from 8 months till 14 months old, all other people would be fine. - The internal doors are all glazed doors from 1980s, but with the internal walls all being solid brick there wasn't too much sound transmission. - Can't think of anything else to be honest

Super clean, very friendly host(ess) and we appreciated the "welcome pack" and the selection of toiletries on offer in the bathroom. Very comfortable and very quiet.

We enjoyed the stay very much. The following points keep us from awarding the top possible score: We would have appreciated fans because it was very hot in the flat in high summer. Not suitable if you have any kind of walking impediment - lots of steps to climb to get up to the flat. Thankfully not an issue for us, but a consideration for some potential guests. The electrics are safe but temperamental - so only one major appliance can be used at a time. No decent places to eat within easy walking distance.

Madam Michela and her parents were truly warm and hospitable. The house was very clean, very comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. It is in a perfect location for those who want to visit cities like Locarno and Lugano. Also, don't leave without checking out the wonderful miniature city created by Madam Michela's father on the ground floor.

Our favourite place in the area of Dumenza. We were happy to stay in this apartment again. It has everything we need for a comfortable and pleasant holiday. We especially enjoyed the bed and beautiful fresh bed linen. The hosts are always hospitable and friendly, they were very nice and helpful to us. Looking forward to coming back there again.
