I FIRST STAYED AT THIS PLACE IN 1989. IT HAS CHANGED LOTS NO LONGER A GUEST HOUSE BUT A GOOD HOTEL ALL GOOD. ALL THE PROBLEMS COME FROM THE SURROUNDING AREA

Noise noise and more noise. Nothing to do with the hotel but surrounding dance bars and discos till 6am a huge problem with zero respect for anybody. The hotel supplys earplugs its a shame because i have loved this place since 1989

It is a wonderful oasis of tranquility in busy busy Thamel. The staff are very kind . The garden is sublime. The service excellent. It is a MUST stay.

Beautiful garden area with restaurant and coffee shop seating, nice clean modern room. Friendly helpful staff, great spa and a yoga studio on site, wonderful location in the heart of Thamel

A wonderful garden - a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of Thamel; delicious food though breakfast could be better; very helpful staff; great location

No sound isolation in standard rooms so if your neighbours are noisy, it might be loud

좋아하는 호텔이라 네팔트레킹 두번째 머물렀어요. 신관에 머물기위해 디럭스룸으로 예약했으나, 베란다에 비둘기 분비물이 많아 이동 요청했어요. 좋은점이 많은 호텔이지만 잊지못할 불쾌한 경험이 있었어요. 첫날 오믈렛 주문하고 자리서 기다렸으나 주지않음. 다시 요청했으나 기다리라고 함. 뒤에 온 서양인들 먼저줌. 기분 나빴지만 참음. 둘쨋날. 한국서 온 일행들 칸첸중가행 비행기 시간맞춰 일등으로 조식먹으러 옴. 또 오믈렛 주문하고 앉음. 또 안줌. 또 서양인들 먼저 줌. 이번에는 비행기 시간 늦는다며 화를 냄. 그러나 비행기 시간보다도 인종차별 확실해서 화를 냄. 당신네들이 인종차별까지 할 정도입니까? 이 후기 삭제하면 KGH본부에 직접 후기를 보낼겁니다. 계란요리하던 네팔리에게 다시 교육 단단히 시키시죠

서양인 우대 인종차별.

Breakfast, location, staff, and the ambiance of the whole place never fails to impress. I have visited a number of times since 1993, it evolved and it changes but remains superb, I also like the resident cats which give a calm to the place. I will stay again shortly.
