I loved everything about the property

Although our stay was short, we were very impressed with the property. The hosts were welcoming and attentive. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the amenities available. We highly recommend a stay at Loba Luna and will be back.

Charming large home/complex. Loved the decor and history of the property. Easy access with codes for front door and my room. The Spanish and Southwest style decor was exactly what I was looking for. My room was comfortable, with a large private bathroom adjacent. Easy to use, controllable heating/AC and ceiling fan. Many options for television. Breakfast was AWESOME, made to order and being gluten sensitive, I LOVED that all baked goods were gluten free and the kitchen was totally gluten free. Mornings I had to leave early for work, a delicious smoothie and homemade cheddar biscuit were ready for me to take with me. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. I used the hot tub one morning and it was WONDERFUL. The yard is lovely, views of the mountains and even saw balloons taking off the first morning as it is pretty close to the Balloon Fiesta field. The patio out back is beautiful, with many options for sitting in wicker chairs or dining outdoors. So many charming and colorful touches everywhere. If you want to experience New Mexico character and charm, look no further.

Friendly, welcoming, and communicative hosts. Arrived to a thoughtful goodie bag in our room. Made to order breakfast was outstanding! Homemade cookies were delicious. Grounds and indoor decor were interesting and inviting.

The beds, and pillows were super comfortable. The homemade breakfast made to order was phenomenal. The hosts were great. The bathroom had a good sized tub, and shower. It is in a great location, that is close to a lot of restaurants, and attractions. My husband and I will definitely be staying again!

If I had to say something, I would say that I wish it had cost a little less, but it was still worth every penny.

I liked how it was more residential, I wasn’t expecting it but it was a hidden gem and I appreciated the quiet and privacy we were given due to the location. The hosts were beyond generous and took us on a tour upon arrival! They offered breakfast and plenty of goodies to make the stay more enjoyable!

Everything was great, no complaints here.

it was warm, I guess

Despite listing "private bathroom", bathroom was separated from our room by a public hallway. There was rusty water from the bathtub faucets and multiple large spiders in the bathtub. Our dusty ceiling fan wouldn't turn off even after the owner climbed on one of our chairs to fiddle with the switch above the fan. Sound insulation is poor (1inch crack below the door) and you will be woken up often by guests entering their code to open the bathroom door (beeping). As someone who's traveled in rural South America and Asia, this is the first time I've paid for a last-minute hotel at midnight to avoid staying at a booking.

We loved the Adobe structure itself and the original grounds. It was very nice to have a fireplace in the bedroom, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The Christmas decorations were very nice, especially the Christmas tree in the bedroom.

The dimmer switch in the hot tub room is a significant electrical hazard. There is a short in it that causes the lights to go on and off. If touched when wet it could electrocute someone. It needs to be repaired soon. Greater attention needs to be paid to the overall maintenance of the property (e.g., fix shower doors, leaking shower, broken window blinds in room “R”, etc.) Dishes in the kitchen sink and food / dirty kitchen paper towels on the counter gave the impression of uncleanliness (so much so we avoided the advertised breakfast each morning even though it was included in the price). It was a plus to have the owner greet us when we arrived, but from there on out, all business was conducted by text and it felt impersonal. Lastly, we did not care for the Harry Potter decorations throughout the house. It clashed with the Southwest theme. The property has a strong sense of Southwest history and identity. To overlay that so heavily with a Harry Potter theme somehow cheapens the experience.
