AfriCamps at de Pakhuys, Cederberg

The accommodation (including hot tub water) was clean. Great location for walking / hikes.

We stayed in unit 8. Unfortunately, it was difficult to relax during the day as they were building another unit (#6 if memory serves me correctly. Lots of hammering, drilling, cutting etc. with with loud tractor driving passed (and early as well). I would like to come again, but there must be no building works. As soon as the building works was completed for day, you could immediately feel the quietness and relaxation starting.

Wish there were longer hikes

De hottub, mooie bbq en het terras.

De totaal-niet flexibele houding van het personeel. Ik had een fout met de data gemaakt bij het boeken en dit viel op bij het inchecken. Ondanks dat het geen seizoen was (heel veel tenten waren niet bezet) hielden zij mij strikt aan de geboekte data. Dit is -voor een ‘glamping’ ervaring- niet representatief noch getuigt het van klantvriendelijkheid. Ik zou hier niet meer verblijven en raadt andere gasten aan naar andere accomodaties te kijken.

Drone of loud farm equipment during the day. Really wanted and expected a peaceful, quiet setting with JUST the sounds of nature.

Tolle Lage super zum wandern

The Tented Cabin was nice.

The inconvenience of having the outdoor braai area uncovered was an issue as it started raining while we were busy braaiing. The hot tub was next to the cabin unlike tented cabin No3 which had the hot tub on the deck. The toilet seat was broken. The owner and his son is extremely rude and disrespectful.
