The 6 rating is for the dorm room. Unbelievable nobody mentioned it yet, but the dorm room is a bunk bed in the hallway- where everyone has to pass through. On top of that there was the bad luck that there was a big group of local travellers in the lower level making noise till late and again very early and well- the lack of door to close made it hard to shut it out :). I came to this place because it looked silent and idyllic, and the experience was anything but- next to the loud road

A beautiful location with a stunning view and a nice host. We really enjoyed our time there.

My favourite homestay in all my travels in Asia....this is a real homestay with a lovely family on the Ha Giang loop. Do the family dinner and eat with the family themselves in their kitchen. View is incredible. Get warm by the fire after dinner.

We did the loop by ourselves and chose to stay here for one reason THE VIEW and it did not disappoint. I was a bit hesitant at first because of the distance, it was a short first day and a bit longer second (still very doable). You will have amazing views on the loop for sure, this is the only place we woke up to one. The family was great, can communicate enough to get by and if you feel like socialising with them, which I highly recommend, Google Translate works wonders.

The dorms are split by curtains which evades privacy a d security. you might have constant thinking while in sleep that someone may peep. I think the homestay can work on that only thing. Yea, but private rooms are cozy and comfortable. People are very very kind and good. Location is good for travellers.

My room is clean and quite chill. It also has the beautiful view to the mountain and river.

The private room is quite small.
