Waterside Cader Cabin, Hot Tub & Sauna

The location was stunning.

I wanted to leave a good review but the Cabin needs a lot of maintenance. Inside the Cabin has been painted in places to cover mould. The radiator was leaking. The shower went from hot to cold when using. The blinds are tatty. Head rests missing from the Hot tub. Also the floors and chairs hadn't been cleaned properly. £120-£160 p/n it is not worth it. We ended up leaving early.

Location Secluded

Too cold, no rugs on floor so when getting up in the morning the cabin was so cold under foot. Suggestion: a washable rug. Needed a second heater to keep at comfortable temperature in winter (February) Slope was slippery with shoes, had to wear heavy soled boots, even to get in and out of tub to enable getting back to cabin up the slope, frozen wood chips on the walkway to and from cabin very slippery on the frosty morning. No lighting by cabin door for walking down slippery slope.

The location was lovely, very private and quiet. Few cobwebs here and there but overall clean.

A lot could be done to improve it to make it perfect. Shower head holder was held up with a cable tie and there was lots of mould staining throughout the cabin. Had lots of uninvited visitors in the form of various bugs and spiders in the night crawling inside the bed and got woken up multiple times by something crawling on me or my husband. There were lots of bugs everywhere so I think that needs to be looked into urgently as we did not get much sleep at all. (Of course we do expect some bugs given the location but there were ALOT.) Hot tub was lovely, but unfortunately there were no headrests and the lights don’t work on it and overall the fittings are a bit rusty and just didn’t look great also some of the side panel was missing. A lot of the blinds inside have frayed and the one on the door was missing the cord so it could’nt be used. Would also recommend some fairy lights around the table area to make it a bit more usable in the the later hours. Overall we had a nice stay, just a few things could be done to make it exceptional.

Absolutely stunning location. This particular cabin was very private and well hidden. Spaced more than well away from others on the property and not being overlooked by anything. Being able to relax in the hot tub after a day ouy walking in the hills.

The other half had a bit of a fright from the bugs but its to be expected in all fairness. Would be nice to have hot water from the tap but maybe thats being lazy.

The location and privacy is very great

Some cockroaches was there, they comes at night

Location was great and the hot tub an added bonus.

Think the price is a little steep considering you don't even get 24hrs there
