The Pink Flamingo Beach Gulf views

The location while seeming like it is far from the beach, the drive to the beach is very comfortable and worth the cost savings. The house was perfect for my Wife, our 2 under 2, and myself. It may look or feel small, but it has the perfect amount of space and coziness. If it's your first time this way, or like us your latest visit, this property is great. The neighbors are very polite, noise wasn't a factor for naps or sleeping. If you like a cold house than this place is the place for you, the A/C unit will have you wanting a blanket. We would definitely return to this house if not booked up.

Review of The Pink Flamingo and Poseidon Home - Surfside, Texas Our experience with the Pink Flamingo rental, managed by Paul, was deeply disappointing and frustrating. Upon arrival, we were informed that the property was not ready and were instead directed to an "upgrade." However, this so-called upgrade, the Poseidon home, was far from an improvement.The Poseidon home was in deplorable condition. The property was filthy, with extensive interior damage and a severe roach infestation (took many pictures to back up every word of this review). We killed over 50 roaches during our first night stay and have photographic evidence to back this up. Purchased eight roach bombs from the local Dollar general that had little effects. Additionally, during a thunderstorm, the main bedroom downstairs experienced major leaks, with water dripping all over the bedroom and dresser. This property is clearly not sealed to protect against the elements, making it a poor choice during inclement weather.What was even more frustrating was the misrepresentation of the accommodations. We initially booked a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home on Booking.com. The Poseidon home, however, was only a one-bedroom property. This was not an upgrade, but rather a downgrade that compromised our health, comfort and expectations. It is shocking that such a substandard rental is advertised at around $800 per weekend(2 Days). The lack of cleanliness, maintenance, and proper representation is unacceptable. We will be reporting this experience to Booking.com for gross misrepresentation and violation of quality standards.We strongly advise others to avoid any rentals managed by this owner. By the way, these properties presented by Paul are also listed on Airbnb so please beware. The pictures are not a representation of the actual rental unit.

Nice view of the beach

The front door drags on the floor when you open it, All the outside lights don’t work refrigerator is rusted like it was brought in from the salt air. Shower hot water valve doesn’t shut off easily.

Nice clean cozy stay for us.

Only negative was the Front door was difficult to open and close the kids couldn’t do it. I’m sure that’s from the weather and humidity.
