HUGood location. Potentially a good place to stay. Good on-site communication from the hosts.
Unfortunately we had an insect infestation. I fully undertand that this is an old listed building and these things happen. The hosts responded promptly and offered alternative accommodation which we accepted the following day when the problem did not improve. The alternative house was quite decent, but the location was far less convenient. I have no complaints with the efficient way that the management company resolved the situation, but was somewhat disappointed that after a month there has been no follow up or note of apology for the significant inconvenience to our party. Nonetheless, if the problem has been resolved it should be a great place to stay.

GBIt's location next to Knebworth Hall was very convenient with young children on the Sunday. There was plenty of space, good parking and privacy. An enclosed garden had we needed it for children to play.
The latches on bedroom doors, while pleasantly old, need to work. I had to put a case against our bedroom door. One or two steps at thresholds caught me out. Handle broken on kettle. The shower might need to be checked as it's temperature control did not seem to smoothly rotate. One fixing on stair rope loose.
