The Sandy Studio Flat in Petersham

Very good location for exploring this part of west London. Well equipped, generous supply of basics like tea, coffee, oil, sauces etc. Plenty of storage. Pretty garden. Good public transport and lots to see in the area.

Some furniture getting shabby - drawers and doors sticking, veneer peeling. Lack of a comfortable place to sit, apart from office chair. Some items missing from kitchen itinerary - curious lack of teaspoons (previously mentioned by another guest). I was prepared to park in a nearby side road and that wasn’t a problem for me - plenty of space in a safe place. It is technically possible to park outside the house but in reality the road is too narrow and no one else parks along the road. It’s fine to load and unload there, but it would be obstructive to buses and other road users, and potentially risky for a vehicle parked there. It’s a bit ingenious to suggest that it’s ok to park outside.

Sort of a teenager studio. 2 cars in the house’s park way. The guest can park…away in a distant street. No human interaction.

Location was brillaint..

The property is in the residential area. It might be good to have a car, but there are many buses that connect it to Richmond, Kingston and everywhere else, so for everyone who wishes to have a peaceful location it is perfect. It is spotlessly cleaned, comfortable bed, good kitchen amenities, desk top with office chair and good WIFI. The access to a beautifully maintained garden is a bonus. Highly recommended.
