"A pleasant stay providing all facilities we required."

Two bedrooms 5 minute drive to church where we attended wedding.

There was a mix up and cleaners had not been in on time for our arrival but owner solved problem immediately. House could do with a lick of paint.

"Great little place"

Very clean. Nice welcome gifts. Extremely comfortable beds.

If I were to split hairs Hot water made a loud sound when ran. Just a little maintenance issue. Other than that 10/10

It was a lovely house the owners had left us some treats which was a nice touch. Communication was good the view was beautiful we had everything we needed and had a good stay

"Needs some improvement"

Nice location, handy parking, tea, coffee and biscuits etc was lovely

There were no directions given beforehand so had to get in touch just before we arrived- the host did respond very quickly with great instructions but it would just have been easier if they were available with the booking. The house was very cold and there's no central heating (if there is, it wasn't obvious at all how to turn it on). There were space heaters in every room which is good but it wouldn't be safe to leave those on over night so very cold when we woke up in the morning. Also would've been nice to have those turned on by the host before we arrived so it wasn't 14° when we got there... There was no hot water so couldn't bathe the kids. Why wasn't the hot water switched on before we got there? A welcome pack of information would have been so handy and probably would have countered a lot of the negative points about this property.

"Good value for money, good location."

Location ideal , near the A1 , village only 1 mile away and then Amble with all the facilities you could want 15 mins away. Parking was fine as the road was relatively quiet. We found the cottage comfortable and had all the facilities we needed.

The decor could do with some attention. ie holes where pictures used be on the walls. Kitchen tap leaked , but value for money excellent.

Great location great view.

Very dismissive owner when the facilities did not work and the property had a leak, so we had no choice but to come home a day early.

"Comfortable stay."

Really happy to book this on the day of arrival as we had had accommodation cancelled. Spacious cottage with everything we needed. Lovely views and a small secure garden for our dog was great.

An information book would have been useful. Cottage could do with some TLC.
