Stylish Cottage in the Pewsey Vale

The place was perfect for our kids, it had a huge table with games and comfy beds upstairs. Lovely cottage will definitely be back. My daughters also loved the chickens outside!

Ideally situated for peace and quiet and solitude

Not a criticism but the slanted ceiling in the bathroom is quite low. Care is required on movement.

Great location in a quiet little village. Cottage was clean and had comfortable beds. Sofa pulled out to be a sofa bed. Owners of the cottage were polite and friendly and lived next door to help with any queries. Local playground at the end of the road.

Lack of WiFi so needed to use my mobile hotspot. No mention of the lack of head room in the description for the bathroom due to being in the roof space.

The place is decorated beautifully. We visited during very warm weather and the addition of a fan in the bedroom area was great. Kitchen has a two ring hob and a microwave (in cupboard). Plenty hot water was available in both shower and sink. Bedroom area is open to downstairs and includes a double and single bed. A travel cot was provided. Board games and toys for kids were provided also. We didn't meet the owners in person but check in through a lock box was smooth. The free range hens wandering around are great interest to kids and adults alike. Horse passed on the road outside both mornings of our stay which was fun for kids to watch. The living room window is cracked, I contacted owners who voiced it was caused by gas in the the window pane and they were having difficulty replacing the window pane, it didn't affect our stay at all. The toilet/ bath is located upstairs as an ensuite. The downstairs couch also turns into a single bed, we didnt need to use it for a bed.

Shower is very tight on head space, ended up sitting in the bath to shower. Bed was very soft. There was no oven or TV, we didn't need them but something to be aware of.
