GBWe walked from the room to Bergamo train station and back every day - it was doable. I suppose we could have easily used a bus! There is an excellent supermarket nearby and there is a place that sells delicious cooked chickens on the same road as the room! The room has a fridge with a freezer section, which was handy to keep lollipops and ice cream!
The air conditioner was excellent but the vent from it was not fixed to go outside. We solved the problem by opening the window but keeping the shutters closed and resting the vent by the shutter so the warm air could go outside!
