"3 nights in Calstock"

Beautifully furnished, with lots of extra touches. Lovely Neals Yard toiletries, welcome pack of scones/ jam) cream / milk

Parking outside was not available - as advertised - so not a complaint. And it was nice to stay in the heart of the community

It was good for a short stay for 2 adults . The Cornish tea was most welcome, we asked for extra bath towels , and delivered the following day with Flowers .

"A quiet couples retreat"

10.0

The cottage is in a beautiful quiet location, we arrived to a lovely welcoming ambiance and some delicious scones with fresh clotted cream and jam! Everything you need has been provided from an array of teas and coffees to endless toiletries and lots of reading materials, playing cards and puzzles. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail and extra care taken to make you feel right at home. We were especially impressed as it was a last minute booking but it was obvious the hosts had taken the time to ensure everything ran smoothly. The village itself is picturesque like something out of a movie!

It wasn’t an issue for us but just be aware the stairs are a little steep!

"Lovely place"

10.0

Really nice little place and really cosy and quaint. It had a very nice feel and a lovely atmosphere. Perfectly located for the occasion. Really liked the music playing from the radio on arrival and the treats that had been left.

Only slight difficulty was accessing the key as it was in a lockbox that was quite stiff and difficult to open but nothing major and I did manage to open it (so it could very well have been more ‘user error’). All in all it was a lovely stay.
