GBThe house itself is lovely with beautiful views over the fields. It is well equipped and was spotlessly clean inside. The village of Alfriston is lovely, and was ideally placed to visit our family in Eastbourne.
We did have some issues with the outdoor furniture. The top of the main outside table was very damaged, but the owner did replace this mid way during our stay. The outside chairs are very rusty and despite many communications we couldn’t source adequate cushions for them and we felt we couldn’t use them (unfortunate as it was the hottest May on record). There were also lots of cobwebs on the outside of the house. The whole house got really warm in the heatwave, so possibly some fans would be a good future investment.

Little atmosphere in the house very Spartan and not homely. Expensive when compared with others stayed in the area.
