Really fantastic apartment- definitely recommend this!

Beautifully fitted out

Decent location: 15min walk to the seaside (if you know where you are going), 10-15min walk to Duomo and surrounds. Beautiful view of the sea from the 1-bedroom apartment lounge room and the bedroom. Staff were kind enough to give me an extra hour on the last day of my 3 day stay, as I find 10am check-out completely unreasonable, given 3pm check in, yet paying full day rate. Very comfortable bed and very nice pillows, towels etc. Beautiful frescoes and design. Lovely neighbours. Relatively quiet, though the place gets super stuffy, so you will have to keep the windows open and brave the mosquitoes. The apartment is huge for 2 in my view, very comfy.

Large toenail clippings on the armchair next to the bathroom. Very poor communication, as you get joined to group chat with poor response rate, if it wasn't for Alessandro eventually stepping in after my frustrated messages and calls, most of which went unanswered I would be walking around in circles for another hour, due to abysmal map directions on bookings site, and very poor street signage in old town. DO NOT USE booking.com maps link, it's completely wrong. Orientate yourself to Chiesa di Santa Maria de Lama, look to the right see large pink building that is the school, only then start following the hotel's instructions up. No lift, so if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues, take this into account, as well as steep cobblestones to get there. No decent amenities provided other than cheapie motel paper packs you need to tear. Bring your own body wash, etc, no shelves to put them anywhere other than the shower floor, which retains puddle of water until the next shower. Very ineffective cooling, even at 20C outside, it got so stuffy! Would be a nightmare in the summer as windows are old and not double-glazed. It is not suitable for any meaningful cooking due to absence of proper pots, utensils or knives. No dishwasher, so you probably want to keep that to a minimum anyway.

Beautiful property

The washing machine was so loud in a spin cycle that we decided not to use it as we were worried about disturbing the residents of the neighbouring properties. A full sized ironing board would have been nice, rather than the tiny tabletop one provided

the apartment is beautiful. It is as gorgeous as the pictures on the site. The bedroom was separated from the main living area. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern. Addition bonus: the view! Mara was very communicative and helpful upon arrival.

The location was excellent! It was a beautiful place, and the staff communicated exceptionally well, always being helpful with any concerns or questions we had. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the people were incredibly friendly. We truly felt like locals! We will definitely be back. We love Salerno!
