"Almost an extension of JR Akita station; very handy."

Breakfast buffet was good variety and volume; coffee was tasty; hours convenient. Self-serve luggage dropoff allowed early arrival, then free time walking the city without bags to worry about.

At first confused by tie into JR Akita East gate: access from 2nd tower floor, not ground level. Ad hoc signage helped, though.
