Modern Apartment with Spa and Pool

Spacious, even overly so...with 2 full bathrooms. Liked the balcony with an amazing view of the rock. Generally, the facility and amenities were fine, but fell short in a number of small ways. If these could be improved upon, and it wouldn't be too hard or expensive, the experience could be much improved. Examples: stock more coffee; provide sugar (had to buy some); provide Kleenex and dish towels; decorate a little more (only "wall treatment" in the whole place was the TV); provide more than the one wastebasket that was in the kitchen...would it be too much to ask to put one in the bedroom and maybe even the baths?!

The view of the rock was great, but significantly diminished by the eyesore at the bottom of it...some sort of scrap/junk yard operation that made a lot of unwanted noise. Just have to keep your focus on the Rock. Lastly, the building was hard to find as was the parking. Had to call the staff. Ĥe was nice, but mentioned that he was going to contact me to advise how to get in. That would have been so much better. As it was, it was a major pain. The building itself was new and modern, but was the "coldest" place I've ever been in, and I'm not talking about the temperature.

The apartments are located a 10 minute walk from the airport, and very close to Eastern Beach. Although not in the centre of Gibraltar, it is only a 10 minute walk to the main tourist areas. The host and I stayed in contact by whatsapp, and she answered any questions I had very quickly.

There were a only a few minor points, and these would not stop me using the apartment again. The toilet seat was broken in the family bathroom, and the bottom draw in the en-suite was broken & occasionally I had to stick the tape back down. There was no tea towel to wipe up after I washed dirty dishes etc. As I say, all very minor issues.

Modern, luxurious and comfortable apartment fully equipped for each type of traveler. Complementary wine/tea/coffee/milk provided by host. Check-in by Marek the host. Free access to spa and swimming pool. Parking lot in garage of the house included. Located in walk distance to beaches, city center and airport.

Direct contact with owner for key collection instructions. Plenty of items left in apartment to make stay comfortable, milk, tea/coffee, toiletries. Excellent view of the Rock! Very close to the airport, about 10 mins walk to the centre of town. Really enjoyed our stay in the lovely apartment. Hosts were very helpful with immediate replies when we contacted them.

Just a point to note, the sofa bed listed in the description is a folding bed, not a sofa bed, we just had to alter who slept where as this was not quite suitable for our adult son. It would be fine for a young person, all the bedding etc was provided for this bed,
