Villa Nyama by Optimum Bali - Central Seminyak

Gorgeous property with each room having its own private feel but then the outside room the perfect place to all hang out together. The location is fantastic. Close enough to all the action but being down the ally a little way, it’s lovely and peaceful. Everything about the property was so comfortable and inviting. Made, our maid was absolutely fantastic, was so helpful, extremely efficient and just so lovely to have around.

The stairs leading up to the top room can get a little narrow and steep so just very mindful going up and down them.

Clean and comfortable property. Best part was the fully equipped kitchen with salt, pepper, and oil. We cooked food twice. Ms. Made was very helpful since we mentioned insects. We didn't see even one mosquito our entire stay. :)

If I have to nitpick: the pool was a bit cold all through the day + it was a bit deep all through. But this wasn't a deal breaker for us. The access to the property was dark even though the overall location is in a happening place. If you plan to arrive late night, you have to prepare a bit.

Villa Nyama is a lovely 3 bedroom villa in the heart of Seminyak. The property appears exactly like the photos so no surprises there. Its at the end (150M) of the ally so there is next to zero road noise, something very unique in Bali). The living spaces are very nice and very clean. Its clearly an older building but with the refurbishment its very well presented. The beds were very comfortable and the air con units in each room kept the rooms cool at night. The kitchen had lots of glasses / bowls etc flor your daily use. The pool and surrounding areas a very well maintained and the pool was super clear and clean. Having three lounge beds was a nice touch for us to laze around the pool in. Given the large tree in the back yard there is plenty of shade or you can have the chairs in the sun for most of the day if you wish to sunbake

The location is NOT what they put on the map (showing it about 40 meters from the main road). It is actually around 150 meters down the same narrow, poorly lit ally that is not accessible by car so you will need to move your luggage down there by yourself. When coming and going at night you will need a torch so navigate the ally as it is not lit. Now its perfectly safe to do so, we just wished they were more open about the location on the map (and on google maps which also shows it in the incorrect location) as it may not be to everyone's suitability.

Location was great! At the end of a quiet lane, no noise! Close to everything or a short taxi ride. If you enjoy a walk you can walk to the beach, cafes, markets and shopping. Taxi’s are so cheap if you don’t like walking in the heat. The rooms were beautiful and everything about the villa was better than the photos. Such a beautiful, comfortable quiet and relaxing place to be. The kitchen is rustic but who cooks in Bali?. Made was beautiful warm and welcoming, she made our stay so comfortable, she became a friend and we were sad to say goodbye to her and the villa. We would definitely stay here again when in Bali and highly recommend

We liked everything but we came in the rainy season so mozzie coils were helpful sitting outside in the evening after a rain. Having said that there was more sun than rain.

We had a comfortable stay in a beautiful and spacious villa with a group of six. A cleaner came every day to tidy up and clean everything. She was very friendly in her communication. Beside the shady alley it is in a good location in Seminyak.

The villa is difficult to find upon arrival and is located in a shady alley. The cleaner sent messages asking for time off, which became quite annoying after a while. I don't think this should be handled through the guest. The pool was not clean upon arrival; we had to fish out beer bottle caps from the previous guests ourselves.
