Rizes Mykonos - Folklore Farmstead

I liked the traditional cycladic architecture of the room, that was beautifully decorated with antique artefacts and items that reminded me of good old times.

There was nothing to dislike, the wind was blowing and that's to be expected at this time of year.

The surroundings of the place, the breakfast, the animals, the attention from the staff.

One of the nights there were people playing the drums up to late at night ( over 2am), not very considerate with our 5 yo.

Thank you to everyone at Rizes who made for such a special stay. The food at the restaurant is a beautiful example of farm-to-plate food, and thank you to Sofia and Kiveli for going out of their way to make our stay so wonderful. We were very lucky to have the experience of the cooking class and a beach horse ride which were both fantastic and we would highly recommend these activities. The accommodation itself was also lovely. If you are looking for a warm, friendly and different stay in Mykonos this is the place. Don’t hesitate to book Rizes!

The rooms were beautiful, the photos don’t do them justice! The food at the restaurant is some of the best I ate in Greece. We loved walking around the property with our two year old meeting all the animals and she even got to ride on one of the horses. A really special, unique experience. The staff were all so helpful and lovely.

Minimum 50€ taxi to get there from the airport, old town or boat harbour. Not the accommodation’s fault but we didn’t realise it would be so much!

It’s very authentic traditional home with a proper restaurant and the farm. Very very nice people and quiet environment.

It’s a bit far from a big road. So I got to rent a car.

When we booked a room at “Rizes”, we could never imagine that we would have such an unforgettable experience there. -Spotless facilities with great attention to detail at very reasonable prices. -Friendly staff always happy to help with any question. We felt at home the second we drove there! -Authentic tastes with ingredients from the farm (literally 0 km!). -Incredible surroundings and near nice beaches. We are more than grateful to everyone at “Rizes” and we look forward to our next stay there!
