Suwehan Beach Cliff House with Hammock

Just amazing!

The view is breathtaking

The place doesn't meet our expectation 1. the location is one hour drive from the port 2. the place is operated by two people who are available from morning till 6-7 PM 3.the room has only bed and small bed table with a few hangers 4.the toilet is downstairs and you have to take a shower in very tiny room just next to the toilet 5. I didn't feel safe in this place. Every time if I want to use "bathroom" I have to ask my boyfriend to escort me downstairs. There is no staff available after sunset and you can't do anything after sunset but just stay in the small bedroom. There are no restaurants nearby!!! 6. We could not sleep in this place and I booked the other hotel the same evening 7. there is a construction going on (they are building a few more bungalows nearby) 8. there are a lot of monkeys

The view — why else would we come this far? It's hard to put it in words because from pictures you can make your best effort to imagine but the moment you see it you'd still be awed. The vast openness and tranquility of the ocean from high up will spark a deep sense of reverence for nature in anyone who's lucky to behold such a view. We watched every sunrise from our balcony through our 3 nights stay, it can never be enough. Come, even though it seems far away from everything, it will be worth it. The staff arranged our pick up from the port (takes about 2 hours to arrive), and Yan became our designated driver on Nusa Penida hopping place to place from east to west, checking all our boxes, great guide! (N.B. although the island has way less traffic than in Bali, the terrain here is much more challenging for amateur scooter drivers). There's a beach just down the hotel but it does require some stamina to go up and down, and be careful because the steps are very steep. We recommend to check the tides because we went one morning and the tide was up, in which case you can't swim due to the strong current, and the beach was too flooded to stay. The staff really granted every request we have and their smiles are unforgettable, the nasi-goreng is by far THE BEST we have tried in the 3 weeks between Bali and Lombok (addictive, like the menu said). The bathroom downstairs is humble yet clean, and our rooms is well air-conditioned and clean. There was no mosquitos, not a lot of insects comparing to Bali, and at night it's peaceful and quiet.

There's not enough space to hang your clothes (only a few hooks on the wall near the bed), neither in our room nor downstairs. So we think maybe a few more hooks or a shelf in the room or a small closet downstairs could add a lot of convenience.

Amazing stay with an amazing view

It’s far away from city center .relax and enjoy the stay .It’s still natural location .Can see many monkey nearby .Suwehan beach was so beautiful. You can see the sunrise from balcony and enjoy dinner while listening the waves .if you the hotel from diamond beach ,don’t take the shortcut way .It’s a broken road.Dont trust google maps and take the car way looks a bit longer but safer

Less option for snacks and drinks

The suwehan cliff house makes you feel like you are floating above the sea. The sunrise in the morning is breathtaking! If you are looking for a quiet romantic retreat after spending time in Bali, this is the place to stay. The hosts are welcoming, kind and attentive, I hope to return here one day ❤️ The beach is 15 mins walk away, while it's low tide/sunshine window is short 11am - 2pm, it's one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.

Lovely staff, organised transport for us with wayan - great driver I really recommend to pick you up and take you on a tour of the island - we went to diamond beach, goa Giri putri and Kelingklibg. Also organised boat transfers! Great location right near Suwehan beach which is really quiet compared to the other beaches but a very steep walk down.
