I’ve never seen a more beautiful breakfast table. Our host, Lucas, was attentive, charming and informative. The grounds were immaculate. The views in every direction were stunning!

A magnificent French chateau style property in a quiet secluded location. Hosted by Lukas who is one of the most helpful people I have had the fortune to meet, this property is ideal for those seeking seclusion but is also accessible to good local restaurants and areas of natural beauty. Highly recommended. Five out of five stars!

Everything was exceptional, the accommodation, the location and John was an amazing host.

This is a beautiful house in a lovely rural setting with the most glorious views over the countryside and the coast. Kay is a wonderful host who goes out of her way to make your stay memorable, recommending places to visit and restaurants for dinner. There are fresh flowers everywhere and the breakfast setting is exquisite. This has been our second visit to The French Country House and it certainly will not be the last.

Nothing

a unique experience, high ceilings , regal decor , private yet homely environment. Kay is the secret to the experience being so nice . from the welcome board with our names , to the canapés , the jazz music on the terrace , wine on the house and the amazing breakfast. didn’t want to go anywhere else

nothing comes to mind . if I try really hard , perhaps an aircon might be a good addition . but the airy surrounds made up for the slight heat and the fan was enough .
