I didn't stay. I had to book another hotel because the room was uncleaned, the bed wasn't made and it smelled of food. The lift wasn't working so I had to carry my luggage up the stairs. So after a 4 hour drive from London to experience this was unacceptable. I have complained to customer service as I want a refund

"Stressful booking system!"

Location close to work.

The fact that I completed the guest portal days before the booking. But on the day kept receiving emails saying I hadn't completed correctly and that they were going to cancel my booking. It was stressful while in meetings and training getting mixed messages about if my booking was still valid that night. Finally it was sorted and I checked in fine but it was a lot of stress and anxiety, wondering if id have a room after work and the back and fourth via inbox on booking.com is clunky and not easy to navigate. Not a great experience at all!
