St James’ Blvd Newcastle Apartment

Was very dirty dusty very bad smell never seen more bad . Hairs all over the bed and sofa bedding was yellow not white !!!! Had even someone bogies on bedding .. freezer was full of mould and the cupboards too …

Owner was very arrogant and racist soon as I asked about to get refund and I can’t stay at the property due my three month old son haunt allergies she told me to go back to my country and that she won’t give refund back …

Bed was good

Shower did not work Stains all over the sofa General low level of maintenance Owner messaging on the night I stayed at 10pm saying I had not paid and sending me bank details, I had paid booking .com direct weeks before. Had a very low level of maintance dirty and really run down. Ring door bell also on the door which makes me uncomfortable because you don’t know who them knows your 2 woman alone in the apartment

Perfect location had everything we needed fir our stay

It was very noisy outside with emergency sirens. Having said that we were on a major road so not an issue.

I rang the host on arrival as instructed but was told no one could meet me and hand me the keys due to family issues. I explained to the lady we had come for the night on the train and did not know my way around Newcastle so she said she would just cancel the booking. This left myself and 2 daughters with no were to stay and I had to book another hotel at considerable cost.

It was clean and warm with great facilities and in the centre of Newcastle

Apartment looks old in terms of decor and walls require paint and carpet to replace with good quality. House keeping should provide after every 2-3 days.

Right in the centre of Newcastle so anything you need is usually within walkable distance, fantastic communication with the host too! All appliances you may need are provided such as an iron and hairdryer which was very helpful.

Had a few unsavoury encounters with people knocking on the window of our bedroom with it being on the bottom floor, most likely people coming back from pubs and bars.
