Younes was most helpful ,advice on locality , best butcher .. which really was good to know Instantly felt you could feel at home in the space , terrace was a great space n if ya of the mind climbing onto upper roof via ladder availed great sunset shots . A lovely friendly town despite most of roads n footpaths dug up 4 beaches in walking distance and aftas beach like travelling back to early surf trails , charming .. Would not hestitate in booking again for longer stay . Easy access to ctm bus stop and shops and cafes

Younes was a fantastic and attentive host! I loved the privacy of the apartment on the top floor, with a huge private terrace that had some great furniture to relax in - table & chairs, cushioned bench, sun lounger and hammock! The apartment itself was spacious and I found the bed to be really comfortable

I instantly felt at home in Younes' apartment. It was very homely and had cosy vibes. The rooms were bright and I loved that I could open all the windows to let air through the house. The private terrace was the highlight my stay. I wanted to extend but it was booked out. I loved that I had a blender and could make smoothies - another perk. It was in a great location - very quiet and close to the main area. I would come back here and stay again.

The terrace is spacious.

Not a great experience starting from the day of the check-in. We were promptly contacted by the host with a message suggesting we were to pay some "city tax" quoted in euro but to be settled in dirham using cash with the daily rate. Upon arrival the host tried to upsell a set of things/tours and then immediately requested the aforementioned tax. I asked for some proof of the existence of this tax (a website or a document stating the rules and the amount) and nothing was produced. He started saying that booking pays him the next month and he needed that cash immediately. This made no sense given that he was requesting a tourist city tax for the city (Mirleft) not for him and kept on refusing to produce any documentation about it. After contacting booking to get a confirmation about it nothing was answered by the host who stopped asking. You shouldn't pay it as after inquiring with locals, no tax is due on these short term private flats, just on hotels. Moreover the prices for these city taxes are in dirham not euro. The flat itself is not in a great condition. The boiler works very badly and it's hard to take a shower without getting burnt or frozen. The bed is not very comfortable and there's no closet for clothes, just a single hanger. Most of the kitchen utensils are run down. The internet provided is just a SIM card within a router. I never managed to achieve the speed suggested in the post pictures (not saying it never existed but it never appeared while there). I was getting a maximum of 12/16 Mbps down. The price is low in absolute terms but in relative terms to the city and season they are mid/average.
