Good location close to sea shops pier

The apartment was spacious, exceptionally clean, comfy beds and in a prime location in town and near to beach. The hosts were extremely helpful and friendly, would 100% recommend this accommodation. The reason for our stay was a sad one, the cremation and Celebration of Life for my eldest daughter, the host Lisa went out of her way to make things nicer for us, with flowers, and offers of help if needed. We would have stayed an extra night if it had been available, and will be recommending to friends and other family.

The property was ideal for our needs. Lovely and clean, beautifully decorated and a perfect location. Lisa and James went above and beyond when my daughter came down with food poisoning. They allowed us to stay well past our check out time and were so very accommodating. When the WiFi went down, Lisa promptly came round to help sort it. Again above and beyond customer service. We can’t recommend the apartment enough and will be re-booking in the future. Thank you 😊

The house decor is nice and modern Very communicative owners

Location is very centric, and due to that VERY noisy till early morning hours. The building is extremely smelly, from the elevator to the hallway carpets (outside the apartment)

Fab property, so central. Beautiful styled, spacious and light. Everything there you could need. Ample towels, bedding etc, shampoo/conditioner in bathrooms, kitchen well equipped, even with a coffee machine with pods! Right on the high street but 4 floors, so not too bad on noise. After an initial miss understanding about the free parking (which they help us sort) James & Lisa were the perfect hosts. Apartment is lovely, will def be going back. Thank you for a great stay.

If i were to knit pick, towel rail in main bathroom wasn’t working.

Great location & good size

It was quite noisy as right on the road but that’s to be expected. The floor was quite dirty when we got there. The ‘free’ parking permit wasn’t available during our stay. The host offered to pay 50% of our parking due to this.

Location was great

The attitude of the owners. There hadn't been enough bedding or towels left for all the guests- we called the owners who were shouting and verbally abusive on the phone and did not resolve the situation (as she had been drinking alcohol so could not come) so we had no sheets for the children and had to use our own towels. The advert said that free parking was available (which influenced our decision to book this apartment) then on our way, the owners changed the advert to say 'Subject to availability'). Having really young kids on the streets of Brighton driving around to find parking was not ideal. Then had to fork out an additional £40 to park. The coffee machine did not work either. Upon check out we received a barrage of messages from the owner complaining about us in retaliation to our requests. Am currently trying to get in touch with booking.com as this type of owner is clearly ripping people off and should be de listed from the site. Grifters! Although the flat was nice and the location was great. This experience ruined our stay in Brighton.

The apartment is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay including coffee and snacks. The location is brilliant, perfect for The Lanes, good restaurants and just a few minutes walk from the beach.

When we booked this apartment it was listed as having free parking. This was a deciding factor when choosing this property as parking in Brighton is very expensive. We mentioned the need for parking when we sent our request to book (you need to request permission to book this apartment, you can’t just book and pay like other properties). Once confirmed, we booked and paid in full two weeks before our stay but the day before we arrived we were told the parking was not available. The owners denied receiving our request for parking and it had been allocated to another guest. We had to spend an additional £45 just to park our car for the one night we were in the city. During our stay we met another guest in a neighbouring property who also mentioned she believed her apartment came with free parking but was disappointed to find it did not. The listing has now been amended to show parking is subject to availability suggesting this is not the first time people have been left in this situation. The owners left a bottle of wine as a gesture for the inconvenience caused but if we had known we might have to spend this much extra we would have chosen a different property.
