"Horrify"

It was an old flat where the owner used to live inside. Most furniture and towels were used and worn out. But they expect you to return them in brand new conditions. They blamed me for stains in the towel and scratches or marks on the white coloured sofa. There was an old electric piano. I switched it on for a few minutes and found that it did not work as normal, then i switched it off. After check out, they blamed me for scratches. There was a super long list of inventories in the flat that was sent to me in the middle of the renting period, and the landlord insisted that it's a correct list. The quantity and quality were not gone through with me face to face before I moved in. So its up to them to say what damage or lost that you have done after you left. The apartment has a queen size bed but was advertised as having an additional double bed. The second bed was actually a single person metal bed frame where you have to open and close every day. And then put a mattress on top. The only space you can open the bed is in the sitting room, but space is very limited also. The landlord also limits the electricity . Certain pounds of credit are put in the meter, and if finished, there will be a power cut. So it's rather cold inside the flat, because the heating is not strong or long enough. Although there is a hot towel rail in the bathroom but the management company recommended not to use it, and the owner recommended switching on for a few minutes only. Lightings in the sitting room and corridor were not adequate as some lightbulbs had gone without replacement The washing machine has no drying function, and there is no balacony or spare space to hang clothes. Cannot open window as very cold otherwise. The main door has a smart lock, which the code did not work upon check-in. The owner can operate remotely, so she let me in. But i have to stay in the flat until the next day for the management company to fix it. The owner was super unfriendly.
