Rastafari - The Backpackers Hostel

The view is just amazing. The beds were decent. Good for those travellers who just wanna go there to sleep in the night and leave immediately the day after. Washroom was very clean although they didn't have handwash only. LOL.

That they had no kitchen. Like you cannot even make tea or maggi yourself also. You'll have to order from Swiggy from Zomato but that's also not readily available there in that area easily. You'll have to order after 11 AM and before 8 PM to get your food. Barely any common area. Like it was too small. Cramped up by people even if half of the guests decide to come and sit in the common area. It was run by a volunteer when we went there and she had not much clue about anything. There is a terrace which has the potential to be a decent common area but it has no roof which makes it very difficult to hangout there since it rained so much in Ooty.

It was a decent place to stay for a couple of days.

Lack of ventilation/windows in the rooms. No housekeeping for 2-3 days. Very far from the city centre.(Which is good or bad depending on how you like it) Room was very small for a 6 bed co-live.
