it is over priced for what it is and where it is. we used it as a stop gap from bus station to airport and only visited the bay / mall area for the evening. it is not close to anything else. the owner messages you on WhatsApp prior to stay but we had no internet the day travelling to penang so didn’t get them until after we arrived
GBAs a stopover hostel this is perfect. Very clean, comfortable beds with light duvet, 2 soft pillows, air conditioning, hanging space. Clean linen and a clean towel, liquid soap provided in bathroom and a good hot shower - very close to room, so almost like ensuite. Free refillable water for bottles, a coffee machine for which you have to pay. There is a washing machine here also. It was difficult to find but we arrived early, look hard on Google maps this is flat 1H, just walk in the gate and you'll discover that it's a hostel.
