Central location, free overnight parking.

The place took a long time to heat up - perhaps it would be nice if it was preheated prior to check in. It was unusually cold for the season though, so not the place's fault of course

Lovely apartment, everything we needed. Perfectly placed for the town. Second time we’ve stayed there and will be back.

There are quite a lot of stairs, so not good for people with mobility issues.

This apartment is in a brilliant location- very central and in walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants, the beautiful park and the station. It couldn’t be more convenient for exploring Matlock and the Dales. It is well appointed, well equipped and comfortable, nice shower and plenty of hot water. The parking permit was a lovely bonus and very useful thank you.

Our one HUGE complaint was the poor standard of cleanliness. Crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans not washed properly- dried on food and grease, dirty sticky floor, grubby cushions, horrible black mould in shower, fridge completely iced up, no room in freezer box, needs thorough defrost, sofas need a good hoovering - full of crumbs and dust. Such a shame because otherwise it’s a super little place deserving of a top rating, just badly let down by their housekeeping team.

There were two bedrooms nice and clean. Nice open plan flat. Key safe easy to access. Actual keys to open flat door.

There were no dressers to put clothes in. There were no toiletries provided. No soap for shower, about an inch worth of hand soap for sink for eight days. Same amount for dish soap. Only One teabag provided. I could not open the windows for some fresh air.

Was a good spot in the town, very easy to get from there to the train station,the bus station and right on the main road so easy to drive anywhere too. Lots of options to eat as well and plenty of cooking utensils to cater for yourself to get out to the peak district on the cheap

Door handle pinched fingers when trying to close the door, was just a bit too close to the door frame.

When we arrived the apartment had not been cleaned we had to phone an emergency number to have cleaners come and clean and provide clean bedding and towels.The shower was filthy and full of black mould.I have taken photographs of this
