Filicudi apartment - Palermo Vibes

We enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It had everything we needed and the hosts were accommodating. The air conditioning worked well and it was nice to have Netflix on the TV in the room.

The area seemed quite run-down at first, but there were no problems during the stay and it was very close to all the main attractions. The shower was small and it would've helped to have a small shelf in the shower to put the shampoo and gel. The pillows were very flat and it would've been great to have a couple extra ones to use.

Many restaurants, shops and important sights plus bus stop for airport in walking distance, lovely hosts, coffee was provided, sweet interior chosen with love, space to hang clothes, blinds to completely close windows, enough electricity outlets and towels, fast responses on questions

You can hear anything in the house/house next door as walls seem to be very thin

really great location at the center of the city but silent at night.

Aleassandro was a great host! He met me at the bus stop to assist me with my bags and give me a little tour of the area from bus stop to apartment. He went above and beyond. He gives you a little list of recommendations and anything you need the reply is almost instant. Flexible with times checking in/out and the apartment is gorgeous. You are short of nothing. Very comfortable and great location

We had a wonderful experience. The location was the best choice- really close to everything (in walking distance). We always feel safe in Palermo but knowing some people would worry I want to mention that it is a perfectly safe location to stay. The apartment is centrally located with a special bonus you won’t be lucky to get everywhere!- It’s placed in a little street (just off the main street) without ANY noise of traffic or bars…(a gem in Palermo!). We had a great sleep, bed excellent, kitchen very well equipped with coffee machine and even with an iron/steamer!, details like kitchen towel, kitchen rolls, napkins, bottle opener, first aid (so was able to help myself with a plaster which I appreciated), bottle of water on arrival!… and all essentials you need. There is tv/Netflix, wifi which worked excellent, heating/air conditioning also a balcony. The apartment is on the first floor (there are few steps to walk in which was ok with us but it might be important for someone to know it). It needed something little to be fixed in the apartment during our stay. All was done within a minute, very promptly, it didn’t disturb us whatsoever and as an apology (which we didn’t expect at all) we got a bottle of nice Sicilian wine (Thank you!). As we had to check in a bit later (around 10pm) this apartment really suited us also for this reason. And yet again we were treated very nicely when Marta and Alessandro offered us to check out late in the afternoon (as they knew we had a late flight). How thoughtful! Marta and Alessandro gave us excellent recommendations, they were very helpful to answer any extra questions we had. The place was very clean, easy to find with all detailed instructions we got from the hosts. Marta just waited on the main street to show us the way in. We would definitely stay again. Grazie mille!
