Kidlington Cozy 3 Bedrooms Retreat

We stayed and on entering were very impressed with the size/decor and cleanliness. It had everything we needed as a party of 6. The location was quiet and we didnt see a soul. Had a driveway for parking. We would stay again as it was perfect for us. The conservatory would be nice cleared of spare beds and some nice furniture would be a great addition and some outside weeding is needed but these are just picky things, neither affected our stay. The host sent us the check in detals about an hour before check in via text. I would note that the listing states check out is 11am but the text i received said 10am. Close to shops/sainsburys is a 5 min drive. About 20 min drive from The Farmers Dog so ideal it visiting the pub/farm.

L'unica piccola pecca è che non erano stati preparati 7 posti letto, ma 6. Nessun grosso problema comunque perché c'erano letti disponibili e lenzuola in più negli armadi

For the amount of money we paid, it was surprising (and disappointing) that there was no toilet paper in the house

Convenient for bus routes into Oxford. Clean and well maintained. Close to supermarkets.

Insufficient kitchen equipment and tea towels. Conservatory doors not secured. Travelnest did not email the entry code until after our arrival time of 4.00pm. We were unable to contact the owner for the code having rang several times

Comfortable beds, good size rooms. Easy to access.

The cleanliness wasn’t great. We had to clean the bathtub before using it and the fridge was filthy. It was very basic cleaning for fast turnaround.

I have tried to contact the host to discuss the matters before leaving this review but no response. - Had dishwasher but not one tablet - No instructions for coffee machine - Dirty garden - weeds and out of date and dirty garden chairs/table - Downstairs toilet door sticking - Several doors opening on their own - Sofa's very uncomfortable, sore back after a couple of hours watching TV - Knew checking in time - could not get in contact with owner without going through booking.com first. - Owner didn't answer phone. - Key pin not correct which caused stress for travelling group. - Owner does not answer ring doorbell either. - Living room door stuck shut and we couldn't get out for 5 minutes. I have video of this if anybody wants to see. - Really small space in toilet. Based on the above we clearly wouldn't go back.

Host was difficult to reach. We never received check in information. We had to call the property owner twice and Travel Nest three times over several hours to get the information. Listing also says the house house has a washer and dryer, but there is no dryer.

Very nice house, white coloured, brand new, comfy beds and pillovs. In quiet area, walk distance 10 min to Kidlington center, Tesco, pubs

Only thing is a shower curtain, which should be remove.
