Hilani House by Homie

This is a beautiful vacation home and the location is incredible. Being on the ocean, listening to the waves all day and night was surreal. The surrounding scenery is stunning and the home is well equipped with everything one would need for a comfortable stay.

The one thing that wasn't ideal was the temperature of the home. We were very cold. The weather was not great and the wind and rain made everything damp. This would have been fine if the space heater worked well to heat the space, but it did not. It barely made a difference in the temperature inside and some days it felt warmer outside than inside depending on the time of day. We wouldn't have minded so much if our toddler didn't have such a hard time sleeping in the cold each night. The doors were not sealed and on particularly rainy days water would come in through the bottom of one of the doors on the lower level. On a hot summer day this wouldn't be that bad, but in the colder off season it made for a slightly uncomfortable stay.
