"Unable to access property in red weather warning."

We didn't like anything as we couldn't gain access to the property, in the middle of a red weather warning.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. We arrived at the property during a red weather warning, only to find that we had no way to access it. No key, no clear instructions, and no support available. In extremely dangerous weather conditions, we were left stranded with nowhere to stay. This was not just an inconvenience; it was a complete failure in basic service and responsibility. Having a confirmed booking should guarantee access to the property, especially during severe weather when safety is a major concern. This situation appears to be a clear breach of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which requires services to be provided with reasonable care and skill. Failing to provide access to a paid-for property falls far below that standard. It also represents a breach of contract, as the accommodation we booked and paid for was simply not provided. We were forced to find alternative accommodation at the last minute, adding stress, cost, and risk to an already difficult situation. I will be pursuing a full refund and compensation for the additional expenses incurred. I would strongly advise others to think twice before booking here, as reliability, basic organisation, and customer care seem to be seriously lacking. Very disappointing experience overall.

"Overall good, could be great with some improvements"

Amazing location, spacious flat for the average cost of that area, quite cosy as well. The hosts were quick to answer when there was an electrical problem and sent a maintenance worker straight away. Very comfortable bedding. They sent a care package that was quite lovely. I spent almost a month there and overall I enjoyed the stay.

Could have been cleaner, a lot of surfaces had stains in them that came out with a bit of scrubbing, the curtains in one of the rooms came out black when I cleaned bits of it, the bathroom could have been cleaner as well as the kitchen, some mildew/grease stains were present. I honestly think I left the flat cleaner than when I got in. You could hear all the neighbours all the time, so if you have light sleep it can become an issue. The floor was very creaky and full of holes, there's a certain charm to it, but it could use a repair. There was no dryer or drying racks that I could see, so I had to create a makeshift washing line to dry my clothes. They requested personal ID information and the payment of a deposit on a third party website, it was a bit strange, non-standard and potentially unsafe, so I don't recommend doing it. My understanding is that any transactions should only go through the Booking system. Overall though I don't think it marred the experience, it just wasn't as excellent as it could have been. There's potential though and I think it can become a 10/10 experience with a little bit more care on the details.

"Ridiculous property and worst customer service from the host."

Only the location was good

The whole property was falling apart. The apartment does not look like the pics on booking.com. The beds and linen were dirty with drains all over them. Hoover never worked , so the property was never cleaned before we came. Bed was broken and after repeated reminders nothing was done to it. We had to sleep on the floor for 3 weeks. Ridiculous host who takes no responsibility for issues we raised with them. The shower was leaking, wooden floor had splinters out of the floor and was a safety hazard, so we constantly wore slippers. To be honest the property should not be allowed to let with this low maintenance and upkeep. Don’t stay at this property and don’t trust this company that is letting this property out. Broken blinds for windows…
