The Old Stables - Pet-Friendly Stay Near Ruthin Castle with Parking

The cottage was lovely, perfect location and felt like a home from home

Nothing major but beds very low and a lot of dust / cobwebs that could have easily been cleaned prior to our stay

Great location, carpark just around the corner. Pub, take aways and places to eat, just a walk away.

The property requires a deep clean and a refresh of the house linens. While it appeared clean at first glance, the cleanliness seemed superficial. The bed linens had holes and showed signs of wear, and the towels were stained. Overall, the property's housekeeping standards need improvement.

Lovely little house with great facilities,very comfortable living room area with plenty of seating we really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return as it's in such a great location for the town centre just a minutes walk away

Not that it was a dislike as such but the beds are very low to the ground so anyone with any mobility issues could possibly struggle if they were just a bit taller it would be perfect as the mattresses are very comfortable, but like I have said it's only a small issue and wouldn't stop us staying again
